The Story of Hamish & Boyo

At Hamish & Boyo, we believe that our dogs deserve the same love and care we give to the rest of our family. That’s why we created a organic, natural dog shampoo—free from harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrances, and anything we wouldn’t use on our own skin.

Our journey started at home, with our own dogs—Riley, Luna, Hamish, and Archie—four personalities, but one thing in common: they all deserved the best. Like many dog parents, we wanted to keep their coats clean and healthy without exposing them to the harsh ingredients often found in pet shampoos. But after scanning label after label and finding chemicals we couldn't even pronounce, we knew there had to be a better way.

Determined to create something truly safe, gentle, and effective, we spent months researching natural ingredients and testing gentle formulas—right in our own home, with our own pups. The result? A shampoo made from botanical extracts, designed to soothe, nourish, and protect every dog’s skin and coat.

The name Hamish & Boyo is inspired by two very special dogs—Hamish, the adventurous soul who never turns down a muddy puddle, and Boyo, the gentle spirit who reminds us that every dog deserves to be pampered. Together, they represent everything we stand for: playfulness, love, and the belief that bath time should be a happy, healthy experience.
